NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 261 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, the state Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Records) rules, 1957 namely

1. Shot title & commencement – (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Records) (Ist Amendment) Rules 2002.

2. Inspection of new rules 153 A. After the existing rule 153 and before rule 154 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Recrods) Rules 1957, hereinafter refered to as the said rules, following new rule 153-A shall be inserted, namely

“153-A. Prepration and issuing of certified abstract of Jamabandies through computer –

1. Not with standing any thing contained in these rules Jamabandi may also be prepared through computer in Form P-26(a), It shall be annually prepared in accordance with rules 153 to 167. It shall record the names of all persons who are liable to pay land revenue or rent and who cultivate any land or are in their possession in any other way together with the nature of their tenure and interest in land

2. Tehsildar / Naib Tehsildar shall give to any applicant certified abstract of Jamabandi prepard in Form P 26-A through computer. These certified abstract shall be given in Form p-26(B) on payment of fee of Rs. 10 upto 10 Khasra No. and Rs. 5 for every additional 10 Khasra No. or part thereof.

3. Insertion of new forms – After the existing for P-26 and before Form P-27 appended to the said rules, following new Forms, Form P-26(A) and Form P-26(B) shall be inserted namely –
